My Panama Travels

If snorkeling, swimming, sailing, exploring, kayaking and water sports are your favorite hobbies, then panama is the place for you. There is no need to look further or search for more holiday destinations; you’ve found your perfect holiday spot!!!

It’s like all other beach vacations, but with a much more developed city and economy. You have a wide selection of resorts, luxury hotels, business centers and shopping areas.

Basically, Panama City has all the ingredients required to make a perfect family vacation. No one gets bored and everyone finds their own special area of interest. Naturally, your budget determines the standard of your hotel or resort. However, this does not mean that people who have a restricted budget and cannot afford to stay in the finest of hotels do not end up having a great time.

The weather in Panama City is similar to that of most coastal areas. Sunny, humid and continuously cooled down by sea breeze. Rain pours are frequent and sudden and go away as quickly as they come. Nevertheless, the Panama weather still divided into two seasons, the dry season from January to April and the rainy season from May to December. People generally prefer to visit during the dry season so to avoid the constant down pours.

I personally enjoy the on and off sprinkle as it tends to lower the temperature and washes away the dust and smog. It only lasts a little while and then the sun starts to shine again!!!

Humidity is an issue, only if you’ve never been to a coastal area before. Generally all islands are humid in nature due to the high moisture content in the air. One just gets used to it. Of course, it’s necessary to wear clothes that are 100 percent cotton. This way your body keeps on breathing and the sweat doesn’t get trapped inside.

I have always loved the ocean and would give an arm and a leg to live near it!!!
